About the Movie

The Zookeeper is a 2011 American romantic comedy drama film directed by Frank Coraci, written by David Ronn and Jay Scherick, and starring Kevin James. The film revolves around the zoo animals at the Franklin Park Zoo who decide to break their code of silence and reveal their biggest secret to the zoo’s head zookeeper, Griffin Keyes (Kevin James), in order to help him win the woman of his dreams.

The film was released on July 8, 2011, by Columbia Pictures. The film received generally negative reviews from critics and was a box office bomb, grossing only $80 million against its $80 million budget.
