About the Movie

In X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Logan (Hugh Jackman) is recruited by Colonel William Stryker (Danny Huston) to join Team X, a black ops squad of mutants. They carry out dangerous missions for Stryker, but Logan’s memories of his past life as Weapon X come back to haunt him. When he refuses to kill an innocent woman, Stryker has him injected with the metal adamantium. This makes Logan nearly indestructible, but also drives him into a berserker rage. He escapes from Team X and goes on the run. Meanwhile, Stryker is secretly gathering other mutants, including Sabretooth (Liev Schreiber), to create his own team of super-powered soldiers. Logan’s girlfriend Kayla Silverfox (Lynn Collins) is also killed by Stryker. This sets Logan on a bloody path of revenge, leading him to confront Stryker and his new team at the Weapon X facility.
