About the Movie

In “X-Men: First Class,” the characters of Professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Erik Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender) are explored in their younger years. The two eventually become rivals as Lehnsherr, who will one day become Magneto, is consumed by a desire for revenge against those who wronged him, while Xavier believes that mutants and humans can co-exist peacefully. The film also features the early years of other X-Men characters such as Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Havok (Lucas Till) and Beast (Nicholas Hoult).
