About the Movie

Wristcutters: A Love Story is a dark comedy about a group of people who have committed suicide and gone to a limbo world that is very similar to our own, but just a little bit worse. The film follows the story of Zia (Patrick Fugit), a young man who is miserable after his girlfriend breaks up with him. He decides to kill himself, but when he arrives in the afterlife, he find that things are not quite what he expected. He meets a girl named Mikal (Shannyn Sossamon) and together they try to find a way to escape from this dreary world.
