About the Movie

The Devil All the Time is a 2020 American psychological thriller film directed by Antonio Campos and written by Campos and Paulo Campos. It is based on the novel of the same name by Donald Ray Pollock. The film stars Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Sebastian Stan, Mia Wasikowska, Riley Keough, and Bill Skarsgård. The Devil All the Time follows Arvin Russell (Holland) as he grows up in a town in Ohio where a corrupt preacher (Skarsgård) is responsible for the deaths of his father and mother. Arvin’s uncle, Willard (Pattinson), is a serial killer who preys on hitchhikers. Arvin’s best friend, Lenard (Stan), is also a killer. When Arvin’s father dies, he is sent to live with his grandparents, who are also killed. Arvin then sets out to kill the preacher and anyone else who gets in his way.
