Spiral: From the Book of Saw is a 2021 American horror film directed by Darren Lynn Bousman and written by Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger. It is the ninth installment of the Saw franchise, following Spiral: From the Book of Saw (2017). The film stars Chris Rock, Max Minghella, Marisol Nichols, and Samuel L. Jackson. In the film, Rock stars as a police detective who becomes ensnared in a twisted game of cat and mouse with a serial killer (Minghella) who targets police officers.

Spiral: From the Book of Saw is a return to the gore-filled roots of the franchise, with director Bousman bringing his signature style of over-the-top violence and gore. The film also features a new twist on the Jigsaw Killer’s modus operandi, as he now specifically targets corrupt police officers.
