About the Movie

Reign of Fire is a 2002 British-American dystopian action fantasy film directed by Rob Bowman and starring Matthew McConaughey and Christian Bale. The film follows a group of survivors in a post-apocalyptic world where dragons have taken over and now rule the planet. McConaughey stars as Quinn, a former soldier who now leads a group of survivors in a battle against the dragons. Bale stars as Van Zan, a dragon hunter who joins forces with Quinn to help him kill the dragons. The film was released in the United States on July 12, 2002 and received mixed reviews from critics.
