About the Movie

Christine is a 1983 American horror film directed by John Carpenter, based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King. The film stars Keith Gordon, John Stockwell, Alexandra Paul, and Harry Dean Stanton. The story follows a high school nerd, Arnie Cunningham (Gordon), who becomes possessed by an evil 1958 Plymouth Fury named Christine. The car apparently has a mind of its own and starts to terrorize and destroy anyone who gets in its way, including Cunningham’s best friend, Dennis Guilder (Stockwell).
