About the Movie

Aladdin is a 1992 American animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The film is the 31st Disney animated feature film, and was the fourth produced during the Disney Renaissance. The film is based on the Arab-style folktale of Aladdin and the magical lamp from One Thousand and One Nights. The voice cast features Scott Weinger, Robin Williams, Linda Larkin, Gilbert Gottfried, Jonathan Freeman, Frank Welker, and Douglas Seale. The film follows Aladdin, a street urchin, who finds a magic lamp containing a genie. He uses the genie’s powers to win the love of Princess Jasmine, defeat the evil sorcerer Jafar, and become the Sultan of Agrabah.
