About the TV Series

The 4400 is a science fiction television series produced by CBS Paramount Network Television in association with Sky Television, Renegade 83, and American Zoetrope for USA Network. The show was created and written by Scott Peters and René Echevarria, and it stars Joel Gretsch and Jacqueline McKenzie.

The series is set in the present day, and revolves around the return of 4400 people who disappeared in a burst of light in 1946. The 4400 people have not aged since they disappeared, and they have been imbued with extraordinary powers. The series focuses on the efforts of the Department of Homeland Security to contain the 4400, as well as on the efforts of a group of 4400 people who have formed a resistance movement against the government.
